The Team
Jeremy Bull has extensive management experience in commerce and the FMCG sector, encompassing retail management, finance, sales and marketing, distribution, warehousing and supply chain. A move into the technology side led to responsibility for call centres, customer service and the development of the web based sales route to market.
Since establishing the MD Partnership in 2001 he has worked alongside a wide variety of organisations and individuals helping them to achieve their aspirations and potential.
Jeremy’s particular interest lies in empowering people to take considered decisions which he believes is the key to future success: “Everyone has a talent; the key is to unlock that and put it to constructive use. If you look at the outstanding results that can come from motivated volunteers then commercial organisations should devote their resources to understanding how they too can tap into that resource rather than developing hierarchical structures that all too often stifle creativity and individualism.”
Alongside his industry experience Jeremy has worked as a volunteer for a number of organisations. As treasurer for the Yorkshire Dales Railway Museum Trust he oversaw a time of radical change and development. He was also a volunteer advisor and mentor for Arts & Business and worked on a variety of different projects.
Morag Bull’s experience in HR began with working in the male dominated Brewing sector amidst the rough and tumble of industrial unrest in the late 70’s and 80’s. This gave her a thorough grounding in negotiation and mediation techniques as well as interpersonal skills when dealing with disputes and redundancies.
The advantages of working for a blue chip company in those days meant that Morag received comprehensive training in all the aspects of the job. That was combined with the opportunity to move through the different Divisions to gain even more experience and the need to deliver tangible results. All three were essential if you wanted to move up. The culmination of Morag’s career as an employee was being the first female to be appointed as the Personnel Director of a wholesale division. Unions, computer systems, pay negotiations, training, managing change, going to Board meetings were all issues that were dealt with on a day to day basis.
It was all great experience which has continued with the establishing of the consultancy and working with the range of organisations and individuals across a myriad of issues and projects over the last eight years.
Associates
All our associates are people that we have worked with on other successful projects. Our collective skills complement each other to make an effective team, able to deliver the practical solutions our clients seek.
They are highly experienced, independent people who we can trust to deliver to the same high standards as ourselves. Together we can work on projects that individually might be considered too large.
The benefit of this approach is that the hard work of assembling the team and managing them is our responsibility and you only deal with one supplier. Unlike some consultancies we do not operate an expensive back office support team which means that we deliver a quality service , but at competitive prices.
